Texas rapper Go Yayo explored the reasons behind Fort Worth’s reputation as the gang capital of Texas. According to Yayo, the origins date back to when gang culture from California first infiltrated Texas, primarily through penitentiaries that impacted major cities like Houston, Dallas, and notably Fort Worth. The conversation also touched on the recent RICO arrest of Big U. Yayo highlighted the governmental scrutiny faced by successful Black entrepreneurs, emphasizing a perceived connection between the music industry and illicit activities, making them targets for federal action. Yayo reflected on a cycle of inherited gang conflicts, drawing parallels with other cities such as Chicago and LA, where multi-generational feuds persist. He remarked on the complicated nature of gang identity today, largely fragmented and lacking the centralized control figures of the past, intensifying the chaotic landscape.

  1. Vlad is seriously going out of his way in overdoing it on the big you and him being cool thing. He's saying it in every interview how he hasn't been restored and he's cool and I haven't had no issues and he's never heard of any problems. Come on man you overdoing it. Ain't no real dude that has any intuition or Street Smart stream doing a really believe the Vlad ain't being pressured in some sort of way or got some reason to keep saying this point blank.. if you agree with me like this comment

  2. Some shit u just don't talk about on camera or off camera these podcast ain't for nobody to sit down with a mic on and camera in they face and talk about past or present street shit no way anybody should be speaking about been this and that especially Rico shit or anything STRAIGHT UP

  3. β€œ I know big u , I was gonna join the 60s but then I got robbed for a kilo and told my guys not to retaliate cause they was hypnotized by hatred so I got out the game and solved tupacs murder β€œ Glad

  4. We got so many young black men out here throwing they life away by wanting to b a known as a killer it’s sad.i hate to b around them or c them coming cause I know they have no respect for no one

  5. Ain’t nobody and when I say NOBODY IN HOUSTON look at FT.worth as the gang capital/Mecca of Texas that’s a lil small ass farm town I’m ngl they have no connections outside the DFW when it comes to gang ties every city Texas got they own history and roots when it comes to street shit / Gang banging

  6. Yayo is wrong about gang history, he just young and wasn't alive yet, gangs didn't start in L.A, they had gangs before trips and bloods, and chips didn't spread to texas through prison, it was the movie colors. People came back to school claiming that L.A. culture trying to be tough and hard. That's how it was back then, it just helped the gangs in prison but that movie what spread it to the rest of the U.S.

  7. I'm not a gang member but I understand totally about this topic. I'm with Yayo on this there is no real g********* going on The only thing that there is is he is exactly right It's a free-for-all. People may hide behind flags and colors because they need protection but at the end of the day it's all about how much money you can make if you putting food on the table and if you're advancing in life, because once you are dead you're dead.

  8. Who are these LA guys that supposedly came to Tx with Crips and bloods? You never heard of there names, can’t nobody tell you who they are.
